Our client based in Portsmouth are the market leader in the manufacture and distribution of in-car entertainment products.
They now require an R&D Engineer to join their team, you will be playing a key role within the R&D function, developing and supporting their electronic range. The products are sourced from 3rd party suppliers and developed in house.
In this role you will be supporting our retail and OEM sales teams, as well as providing a technical interface between the client and the customers.
You will need to have excellent communication skills and good technical expertise.
Skills/ Experience required-
- Degree or equivalent in electronic engineering
- Minimum 2 years experience working within an R&D Department
- Project Management
- Analogue circuit design
- embedded software design
- PCB Layout and schematics
- Automotive knowledge and understanding
- Automotive experience in electonic design or electrical engineering would be an advantage.
